Accessibility Key Binds for Remaining Frequent Build Menus & Tools

Frequently used menu's that still have no key bind setting available (Blank by default, or otherwise):

  • Vehicles Menu: For placing ramps and barriers, often
  • Forestry -> Trees Menu: many trees, many times

Frequently used Tools That are missing/could use key bind:

  • Remove Surface
  • Paint Surface Menu
  • Edit Tree Designation

Frequently Used Vehicle Interface options, that could use a key bind:

  • Move Vehicle
  • "U" for unity remove cargo
  • SHIFT/CTRL + U to unity recover

Other less-frequented Menus missing blank key bind settings (useful while doing specific large-scale projects)

  • Production
  • Smelting
  • Water Extraction
  • Food Production
  • Power Production
  • Crude Oil Refining
  • Waste Management
  • Buildings
  • Housing & Services
  • Cargo Docks
  • Bridges

Most builder simulation games just add every menu and leave them blank for players to decide if they want the added complexity and memorization. And for some it's an accessibility feature to help with repetitive mouse mouse movement. I just like using both my hands to build things.

Switching tabs in the Captains menu.

Cycling tabs in the vehicle menu.

The "Edit Area" button if a MC tower is selected.

Opening the rectangle button if a tower zone is selected.

Opening the item selector if a storage building is selected.

All of these can be done with the same keybind that opens the recipe selector.

There are more that i cant write down from memory.

A hotkey to open the priority dropdown and a shift-hotkey for the build priority dropdown.

A shift-pause that pauses the ghost building rather than the construction job.

I bound the new terrain inspector to the same hotkey as layers, expecting both to be activated at once.

They do not.

Right-clicking an eye-symbol should select whatever the camera is jumping to.

Have import and export on buildings permanently expanded, rather than requiring a second click.

Right-click on the bell symbol to turn on or off the warning without having to expand the bell.

Or better yet, have these things permanently visible, the interface is big enough, cram it full.

Having a contruction selected and pressing the holey for Unity quick-builds that one thing.

But the hotkey for pause opens the pause tool instead of pausing that one building.

Why the discrepancy? It should pause the selected entity.

Why do i need to asign a product to a storage to be able to set the sliders?

Please stop auto-assigning ports on a sorter if i select items.

The ability to not only save a camera position but its angle and rotation aswell.

Why does this forum destroy the formating of a post? I had proper spacing between each category.
