Who we are
This website (hub.coigame.com) is operated by Mafisoft Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 13290473, registered office at 65 London Wall, London, EC2M 5TU, United Kingdom). We're the trademark holder for Captain of Industry® and the data controller for this site. You can reach us at support@coigame.com.
What we collect, why, and on what basis

We do not sell your data, and we don't share it with third parties except as described below or where required by law.
Third parties
We use the following services that may receive limited data:
- Google reCAPTCHA - used during login and registration to prevent bot abuse. Google may collect IP and browser information; data may be transferred to the US under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See Google's privacy policy.
Retention and account deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time:
- Your account information is deleted within 30 days, except where we need to retain limited records for security, abuse prevention, moderation, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
- Content you've uploaded stays on the site after account deletion, with attribution changed to 'Deleted User'. This may include blueprints, maps, mods, comments, forum posts, translations, and similar contributions.
- To remove specific uploaded content or public contributions, delete them before closing your account or contact us where removal is not available through your account.
We may retain limited records longer where required by law (e.g., for tax purposes or to handle ongoing disputes).
Your rights
Depending on where you live and the legal basis for processing, you have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you
- correct inaccurate data
- request deletion of your data
- object to or restrict certain processing
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw consent at any time (where we rely on consent)
To exercise any of these rights, email support@coigame.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority - for UK users that's the ICO, and EU users can complain to the supervisory authority in their country of residence.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies, required to keep you logged in. Note: they cannot be eaten.
Age requirement
You must be at least 13 to use this site. If you're between 13 and the age of digital consent in your country (which varies between 13 and 16 in the EU), you confirm you have your parent or guardian's permission, where required by your country's laws.
Changes to this policy
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes when practical, but we may make changes without notice.
