For some reason when I have this mod loaded and push L to look at the layers 90% of the time it makes my FPS drops to single digits and almost always stays there. The only way I have found to fix it is to save and reload. Maybe I missed something or I'm doing something wrong but I love this mod and want to use it but not being able to look at the layers makes it so much harder.

Latest but it just happened to me while i didn't have this mod turned on so I thinking it may not be this mod.

Okay, so I'm not sure if it's this mod or not. I haven't had it happen to me before I started using mods, but I am using this one and the gameplay plus mod at the same time. However, even without this mod turned on, I still get the ore composition bars that show up above all of the ores. I'm not a modder or a coder, so I'm not really sure, maybe that has something to do with it? I'm not saying it is this mod, I just know it hasn't happened before and it only happens when I turn on the layers.

I checked the code and there are things that could potentially affect performance when entering Layers L, but it should not be in a big way like you describe.

If it happens when the mod is deactivated it’s a rather good sign ATD is not the culprit in your case. I will keep ears open for other users with similar problems.
