This mod speeds up transport movement and updates the displayed throughput to better match the actual in-game throughput.

Unlike a simple strict multiplier mod, this mod respects Captain of Industry's waypoint-based transport system. Because of that, the exact throughput increase may vary depending on the transport tier, spacing, and internal movement logic.

The goal of this mod is to make transport systems faster while keeping the UI honest and consistent with real throughput.

Transport throughput examples:

  • Pipe I: 60 → 150
  • Pipe II: 200 → 600
  • Pipe III: 450 → 900
  • Pipe IV: 900 → 1800

The exact boost is not the same for every transport tier. This is intentional, because the game uses waypoint-based spacing and movement rules internally.

Configuration:
The default movement multiplier is set to 3.

You can change the multiplier in the mod config when enabling the mod. The displayed throughput will be recalculated to better match the actual in-game throughput.

For example:

  • 2 = moderate transport boost
  • 3 = default boost
  • Higher values = stronger boost, but results may vary by transport tier

Save Game Compatibility:
This mod can be added to or removed from existing saved games.

It does not add new buildings, resources, recipes, prototypes, or saved data. It only modifies existing transport throughput/capacity values and runtime transfer behavior while the mod is active.

After removing the mod, the game should return to the default transport throughput values.

Installation:

  1. Download the mod archive.

  2. Extract the mod folder into your Captain of Industry Mods folder:

    C:\Users<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Captain of Industry\Mods

  3. Start the game.

  4. Enable the mod in the Mods menu.

  5. Adjust the multiplier in the mod config if needed.

  6. Start a new game or load an existing saved game.

Recommended:
I strongly recommend testing this mod in sandbox mode first. Build a simple input → transport → output setup and check that the displayed throughput matches the actual throughput before using it in an important save.

Notes:
This mod changes game balance and makes transport systems significantly stronger.

It is designed to keep displayed throughput close to the real in-game result, but exact behavior may still depend on the game's internal transport mechanics.

If you add the mod to an existing save, check your transport lines after loading the game to confirm that the updated throughput values are applied correctly.
