Starting locations
1. Medium
A centrally-located starting point provides you with everything you need to establish a successful colony, Captain. With additional resources being just a bridge or two away, there's nothing stopping you from success!
2. Hard
Captain, this location has plenty of resources for us, but processing them won't be easy! Limited space and mixed ores will result in a challenging logistic scenario.
3. Insane
A more remote beginning, this location provides you with a generous coastline and fair amount of resources to extract. Setting up your factories here will prove to be difficult, however, as the land will require some terraforming beforehand. Only choose this if you're confident in your factory management skills!
Description
Captain, we've found a group of islands that might just be what we're looking for! We've identified several landing points that could serve as the basis for our new colony. More advanced resources appear to be spread out across the islands, so we'll eventually have to build some bridges. Building space seems to be at a bit of a premium here, but I know you'll make it work somehow! What are your orders, Captain?
