To keep the conveyor belt running smoothly, you need to control the amount of goods produced to prevent overflow. Alternatively, surplus items can be recycled or processed.
It's hard to give a definite answer... But I currently have 2 modules set up (roughly calculated for 10,000 people and assuming all types of food are available):
Vegetables: 2 farms at 130% fertilizer efficiency
Fruits: 2 farms at 140%
Rapeseed: 1 farm at 110%
Corn: 3 farms at 130%
Wheat: 3 farms at 130%
Sugarcane: 1 farm at 50%
Soybeans: 2 farms at 110%
Potatoes: 1 farm at 140%
The remaining 1 farm can be allocated to produce anything that helps reduce fertilizer consumption.
(It’s better to assign it to fruits, because with just 2 farms you’ll be short by about 5 units of production per month for 10k people.)
When I have time, I’ll put together a fully optimized (as much as possible) setup with farms and food production.
P.S. I haven’t tested it on 10k population yet — I only have 7k so far. (GPT translate)
