Settlers willing to join your island. Their numbers replenish naturally over time until the limit is reached. Capacity and replenish rate depend on your reputation. Some settlements may not offer this option.

A balanced map great for new or casual players. The first and second starting locations offer easy access to all resources and plenty of space to build a large factory. Later on, create ramps to other platforms to scale up industrial and mining operations. New Haven was the first map in Captain of Industry. It was first available in a closed alpha build in October of 2021. Back then, it was the only playable map in the game and it was much smaller than it is now.

There are some forestry designations outside of forestry tower areas

A massive island shattered by a cataclysmic impact, with a giant crater at its core, and valuable resources scattered all around. Lucrative mining opportunities await, if you can handle the scale. Armageddon offers a lot of land to work with, giving you plenty of room to grow. With four distinct starting locations, it supports a range of playstyles from beginner-friendly to veteran-level challenges. This map was introduced in Update 2 to showcase the new map representation and map editor, demonstrating what can be built with the updated tools.
