Equinox Armageddon

Good editions but sadly I think the Insane starting location is just a tad... Too insane.. There is no way up to the plateau with digging which basically means no iron,copper, and just the few trees.. Its bad enough that you can't insta build the oil rigs anymore which can force you to barter coal for fuel but thats manageble.. not being able to get to the iron and be stuck with the starting scrap.. alittle too much

Great idea to expand the map with islands. Don't you think that oil in this game is valuable only at the beginning of the game and I don't have the same need to dig to it in the center of the map? I also don't quite understand - what is the purpose of such a quantity of limestone? The same copper or gold ore would be much more useful

Hey folks, Quick update on the map: It's already updated to support Update 3, dropping tomorrow (May 14th)! I've fully reworked and recalculated the map resources to handle serious endgame production for all resources, adding new deposits for Bauxite, Titanium and Uranium ore. Key changes include swapping out a Limestone patch for Gold and new Bauxite deposits. The main starting area has been slightly modified, now offering more space for building. Other parts of the map are also slightly tweaked. I poured over 100 hours into getting this map already, and hope you guys like the changes in Update 3! :-) Cheers, Morghen

Only problem I see with the easy start is the lack of quartz. There's a couple islands of it off to one side but it's gonna take me a while to bridge to it. Ah well, gotta have some kind of challenge I guess.

Feidry: You should find a pretty big sand deposit right near your starting point. Beyond that, there are at least two other areas on the map with a massive amount of sand. There is more than enough material to create bridges and reach other islands. Personally, I haven't had any issues with quartz; I'm currently producing all my silicon from just those two sand deposits, although I've also unlocked access to a dedicated quartz mine on the map. i like this map, its the only one i ever played except for the standard one, the only thing i did not like wast the movement of the starting oil node and coal at the spawn and the height raise of the spawn location from 2 to 5
