Medical Supplies III
Description
BioPharma Cell
This facility was designed with two main goals:
- To supply the settlement with Medical Supplies III, minimizing the impact of disease as much as possible.
- To secure a stable supply of Copper ore in lategame by trading Medical Supplies III — making it possible to completely stop mining copper on the island and fully automate ore deliveries. This allows the settlement to become entirely independent from island copper deposits and rely solely on renewable and trade-based resources.
As a bonus, it will also supply some Unity for trade operations and other needs.
Resource Productivity:

The cell includes two separate storages for finished products — one dedicated to settlement supply, the other for trade shipments. Their priority can be adjusted using a flat balancer. Half of the plant’s output is sufficient to supply up to 8–10k population, while the remaining half can be routed for export — yielding up to 500 Copper ore per month.
This also enables combining it with Server trade to obtain Iron ore: Servers require more copper for their own production, while Medical Supplies III demand more steel. Overall, these two high-tech production chains, in combination, provide major benefits in securing raw materials — Copper and Iron ore, the two most essential resources. Copper is also needed in large volumes for producing Consumer Electronics, which are traded for Quartz, and Construction Parts II, traded for Limestone. Thus, Medical Supplies III become a key element in the settlement’s trade strategy for securing vital resources, and among non-renewable resources, it requires significant amounts of only steel.
The layout is designed for easy expansion: simply mirror and attach another blueprint to the existing setup. In that case, it's possible to replace the four smaller storages with a single large one (see screenshot 3). This way, the facility can support any population size and ore delivery volume.
Note. Ethanol BioChemS Cell ( https://hub.coigame.com/Blueprint/Detail/878 ) is ideally suited to supply this facility with sugar, plastic, and ethanol. It can be placed adjacent and linked directly using conveyors and pipes.
