The only Microchips you'll ever need

Modular Microchips

  • Compact and modular microchips factory.
  • Uses a minimum of space and construction materials.
  • Single input location for all ingredients.
  • Seamlessly ramps up from 2 to 450 chips per minute.
  • Three, six, or 12 machines long.
  • Unlimited number of lanes.
  • Repeats processing until Microchips are finished, preventing congestion* .
  • Optional storage sub-module that can be omitted for smaller footprint.
  • Works with Microchip Machine I or II (upgrade belts as required).
  • Connects gracefully to Poly Plant.

Poly Plant

  • Compact, tilable Silicon(poly) factory.
  • Scales from 8 to any number of Silicon Wafers per minute.
  • Single input location per pair of furnaces.
  • Optional storage sub-module that can be omitted for smaller footprint.

Well... How about Level 1 Microchip machine version? If you build this first time one you don't have MC2. And after downgrade to MC1 you lose recipes, which cause hardly solvable mess.
Yeah, some machines lose some recipes when auto-downgrading. That's a bug in the base game which I hope the developers will fix at some point. I might make a T1 version of this i at some point if that fix doesn't appear soon™.
One problem I'm noticing is that more than the end machines have the final microchip assembly, and since the next step can't take a microchip and pass it thru, the whole thing seizes up. I believe this happens even on the full build.
The row length must be 12, 6, or 3.
No recipes added if building T1 Microchip Machine,
It’s a known bug. Auto-downgraded entities lose some recipes. I might add a T1 version in a future version.
