Description

Solution for Liquid Nuclear Fission Product Storage

Designed these to store nuclear processing related fluids like core fuel and blanket fuel underground and out of the way. Each module stores 5646 units. The modules stand alone and can be used to gether or seperately. Pipe balancers provide access above ground. Ensure if storing core fuel generated by a Nuclear Reprocessing Plant and Enrichment Plants that the Nuclear Reprocessing Plant is set to 'Priority IN' on the pipe balancer. The storage will fill up overtime and this will ensure the Nuclear Processing Plant will always be able to store fuel first and continue to process Spent Core Fuel. If Spent Core Fuel cannot be removed from the FBR and reprocessed, your reactor will shutdown. Space required underground 4x1 cells per unit.

The core and blanket fuel lines in the photos were used to transfer existing fluids and test the units for end to end flow then removed. Two FBRs were placed over top of the final site along with Nuclear Reprocessing and Enrichment Plants tied in to the storage.
