Ethanol Refinery

Ethanol Refinery
v1.0.0
Author: Calen
Description
Imagine, if you will, that you have developed new sources of hydrogen (and water) production. Maybe you're even using my FBR Station blueprint. Regardless, you decide to make the switch from diesel to hydrogen vehicles and ships. That's great, there's just one small wrinkle - you can't make plastic anymore. You're not generating enough Naphtha from oil refinement because the only thing that uses diesel is your battleship and maybe your Rubber Makers. The only other chemical compound that can be used to make plastic and rubber is ethanol. Enter the Ethanol Refinery!
The Ethanol Refinery is a replacement to the Oil Refinery to complete your switch from diesel to hydrogen fuel. The best way to produce ethanol is by fermenting sugar, so a farm blueprint of six sugar cane tier II greenhouses has also been provided. These require fertilizer, so the Ethanol Refinery also includes capacity to make lots of fertilizer. In addition to plastic, rubber, and fertilizer, the refinery also produces graphite, salt, acid, and provides sulfur through the world mine.
Installation Instructions
- Place Ethanol Refinery along the coast with the fuel pipe ending two tiles from the edge.
- Place a Cargo Depot (6) so that it connects with the fuel pipe.
- Add six Loose Modules to the cargo depot and assign sulfur to them.
- Repair the sulfur world mine, if you haven't already, and upgrade it until you reach a production level of 72/60.
- Place Ethanol Refinery Transport.
- Place Sugar Cane Greehouses.
- Connect the Sugar Cane Greenhouses to the Ethanol Refinery Transport.
- Connect the Ethanol Refinery Transport to wherever it needs to be connected.
