Waste Treatment Center
Description
Waste Treatment Center
Author: Calen
v4.0.2
The Waste Treatment Center is designed to handle four types of waste: Waste, Waste Water, Toxic Slurry, and Biomass. The center can support a population of up to 8500. As this is one functioning unit, the blueprint is a combination of all four waste disposal systems and their respective ingress & egress transports.
This blueprint comes preconfigured with several alerts:
- When Sand/Filter Media storage is empty
- When Waste Water storage is full
- When Toxic Slurry storage is full
- When City Water Tank is empty
There are multiple manual upgrades you'll need to do as soon as you can:
Stages of the Waste Treatment Center:
- Stage 1: Initial Build
- Stage 2: Pipes Upgrade
- Stage 3: Cooling Tower Upgrade
- Stage 4: Belts Upgrade
- Stage 5: Filter Media Upgrade
- Stage 6: Mixer Upgrade
Stage 1 Notes:
- Make sure the settlement buildings line up with the settlement and show green before placing the blueprint.
- Place the Pumps & Dumps blueprint nearby and connect it to the pipes below the cooling tower.
- Only build the Wastewater Treatment buildings you need.
- You can choose to wait to build the 2 crushers and filter media mixer until after you've researched Wastewater Treatment II.
Stage 2 Notes:
- If you can, don't place the Waste Treatment Center until you've researched Pipes III.
- If you cannot wait, once you do research Pipes III, the following pipes need upgraded to tier III: Waste Water, Water, Seawater, Toxic Slurry, and any ingress/egress pipes.
Stage 3 Instructions:
- Remove Cooling Tower and pipe from the tower to the first support brace.
- Install Cooling Tower (Large)
Stage 4 Notes:
- Upgrade the slag transport on either side of the lift near the slag storage.
- Upgrade all ingress/egress transport.
Stage 5 Instructions:
- If you haven't done so, build the crushers and filter media mixer now. If you already built them, add the filter media recipe to that mixer.
- Remove the u-shape conveyor belt between the two Sand storage buildings.
- Let internal Sand storage drain. The preconfigured alert will tell you once it's empty.
- Switch storage to Filter Media.
- Add Filter Media recipe to Wastewater Treatment buildings.
Stage 6 Notes:
- Upgrade all 5 mixers.

v4.0.2 - Established Change Log - I have no memory of what came before.
@romonito - Sorry yeah I'd figured that bit out. It was more of a broad comment I guess for some of the other BP's. ;)
