SelfSufficient Waste Processer
Description
This blueprint is a specialized Quarter-Size Mega Platform (MPSQ) module designed for high-density urban waste management. It serves as a "set and forget" solution for your settlement logistics, converting all primary waste products into useful industrial precursors while maintaining a compact 44x56 footprint.
Designed specifically for the MEGAPLATS™ (MPS) ecosystem, this unit integrates seamlessly into your city grid, handling the output of a 10,000 population settlement with full circularity.
Upgrade Stages
The blueprint is designed to grow with your technology level:
- Stage 1 (Early-Mid): Basic waste and sewage processing. No exhaust filtering or sulfur recovery.
- Stage 2 (Mid): Pre-T3 tech. Uses standard desalination and T2 logistics.
- Stage 3 (Late): No CO2 recycling (venting only).
- Final Stage: Complete end-game configuration with maximum efficiency and vacuum desalination.
Production Statistics (Final Stage)
- Population Capacity: Up to 10,000
- Core Inputs:
- Settlement: 432 Waste, 480 Waste Water, 48 Biomass
- External: 24 Rock, 4-5 Limestone, 2 Coal
- Fluid: Seawater (~350 Avg)
- Core Outputs:
- Industrial: 32 Acid, 4 Graphite
- Agriculture: 42 Organic Fertilizer (Export required)
- Byproducts: 0-53 Brine, 4-6 Slag (Export required)
MEGAPLATS™ Integration

- Footprint: MPSQ (44x56 tiles). Fits perfectly within a quarter-grid sector.
- Logistics: Designed for road-network integration. The shortest full-length side is optimized for truck-accessible storages to handle solid byproduct exports (Slag, Fertilizer).
- Startup: Requires an initial kickstart of Water and Fuel Gas (or Hydrogen) to prime the thermal and chemical cycles.
- Fluid Header: Includes priority balancers for UGP (Underground Pipe) connections. If the local processing cannot keep up with steam or exhaust, it is pre-configured to overflow to integrated stacks or UGP relief lines. https://hub.coigame.com/Blueprint/Detail/1257
Installation Notes
- Initial Fill: Ensure your MPSQ baseplate is leveled to the standard MPS height (+5 recommended).
- Startup: Prime the system with a small amount of fuel gas. Once the biomass/waste cycle begins, the system becomes energy and fuel-neutral.
- Byproduct Management: You must ensure Slag and Organic Fertilizer are exported via truck or belt to prevent the system from backing up.
- Versions: The package includes a "Clean" version with all retaining walls removed for easy snapping into existing MPS layouts.
- At full 10k pop capacity: there will need to be an additional 36 water/60 into the settlement water facility.
Note: IO values may vary slightly between Stage 1 and the Final Stage due to machine efficiency and the addition of exhaust scrubbing.
